- Round of golf (Christchurch has more than 20 courses to choose from – personal favourites are Terrace Downs, Clearwater resort, Christchurch GC and Russley GC)
- Morning Tea - A quality espresso and gourmet chicken pie from any number of the city’s quality cafés – my recommendations are C1, Cup and the Ground Floor Café
- Visit the Canterbury Museum and Christchurch Art Gallery
- Late lunch at Café Roma – they have an open fire roaring in the winter months!
- Mountain biking around the Port Hills and down the Rapaki Track at speed
- An energy smoothie from Café Java washed down with a flat white
- A quick game of tennis at Fendalton Tennis Club (only 5 minutes walk from Airport Delta)
- Back home to freshen up before dinner at Rotherham’s with Lisa
- Pick up Baxter from the grands then off home for 12 hours sleep
